Harry

Harry was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease less than 10 years ago; he lives in a nursing home in New Rochelle, New York. Harry has difficulties walking, so he manages to keep on going by the help of the nurses, that becomes the caregivers when no family is there to support him. This project documents caregiving in an institution, where the caregivers in this case, are the nurses and staff of the nursing home. These institutions can be a lonely and depressing place, but is the only alternative for a lot of people in US, that don’t have any families, or they simply don’t have the time or the means to do so.
