Juana emigrated from the Dominican Republic more than 40 years ago, and started her life in Queens NY, where she raised her three children and lived with her husband until  he past away five years ago. Two years later, she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Juana is in the early stages of the disease and she is trying to keep active, going regularly to physical therapy and having the support of her children,  grandchildren and her loyal companion “Rocky” her dog
